Job summary

Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to join a growing team of pediatric specialists in a 15-bed children's hospital with a Level IIIB NICU.

The role includes core privileges to examine, admit, diagnose, treat and consult on cardiovascular disease in children and young adults up to 21, with opportunities for academic collaboration with the University of North Dakota.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship (ACGME/AOA or equivalent).
• Board certification or eligibility with certification within five years of fellowship.
• Active involvement in 25 pediatric cardiology procedures in past two years or fellowship log.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations, admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation for cardiovascular disease in children and adolescents up to 21 years and adults with congenital heart disease per hospital policy.
• Engage in care in the ICU as required and align with physician leadership and governance.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and academic partners for EDUCATIONAL opportunities.
• Participate in a large referral area spanning central/western North Dakota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota.
