Job summary

Michigan Medicine is recruiting a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join the PHO-BMT program with responsibilities split 50/50 between THO (or off-site affiliates) and Michigan Medicine. The role emphasizes patient care, teaching medical students and residents, and involvement in oncology clinical trials.

The position includes inpatient and outpatient PHO-BMT services, collaboration across sites, and the potential for a robust academic track based on experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, must have completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, be board certified in Pediatrics and board certified/eligible Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Proven excellence in clinical care and teaching is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care on outpatient and inpatient PHO-BMT services and share services with other PHO-Oncologists.
• Collaborate with the PHO-BMT program at Michigan Medicine and THO or other off-site affiliates.
• Teach medical students and residents and supervise nurses and other allied health providers.
• Engage in clinical trials in oncology and contribute to program development.
