Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a BC/BE pediatric hematologist/oncologist who will also serve as a clinical faculty member at the assistant/associate professor level. The candidate will focus on hematology/oncology with 50% clinical time dedicated to bone marrow transplant and 20% for non-clinical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BC/BE pediatric hematologist/oncologist required.
• Experience in caring for children undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation preferred.
• Academic appointment with teaching responsibilities expected at assistant/associate professor level.

Responsibilities

• Allocate time as 50% clinical transplant, 30% clinical hematology/oncology, 20% non-clinical duties.
• Provide pediatric hematology/oncology care in a teaching hospital setting.
• Contribute to program development and research within the transplantation program.
