The Division of Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks board-certified/eligible pediatric hematology applicants who can contribute to the Division's clinical and research enterprise at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the University Medical Line.

* The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the *University Medical Line* shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Excellent opportunities for research and clinical program development are available with a clinical focus in pediatric hematology. This recruitment supports an ongoing initiative in the Department of Pediatrics to expand the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine and its research and clinical programs.
The successful applicant must have an MD or equivalent, be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, and obtain a California Medical License by the time of hire. Clinical experience in pediatric hematology and an interest in program development are highly preferred. We are particularly interested in physician-scientists and clinical investigators with expertise in hemoglobinopathies, other red cell disorders, bone marrow failure, or thrombosis. The successful candidate will have experience or potential in developing and guiding clinical and/or translational research programs in pediatric hematology with a record or potential of successful collaboration and mentorship.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor: $214 - 239K
Associate Professor: $264 - 289K
Professor: $327 - 352K

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
