Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking an RN Care Coordinator for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology department at Duke Children's Health Center in Durham, NC. You will collaborate with providers, nurses, and care teams to coordinate complex visits, pre-visit assessments, and clinic flow, while delivering telephone triage and clinical guidance to families.

Requires a BSN, NC RN licensure, and 3 years of pediatric nursing experience; hematology/oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina required.
• Solid pediatric nursing background; hematology/oncology experience preferred.
• Experience with telephone triage or managed care coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers, case managers, nurses, and health care teams to assess patient needs and coordinate care.
• Provide telephone triage and clinical consultation across clinical areas; document responses and update providers.
