Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Division of Cardiology, seeks up to 3 full-time faculty at Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Child Health to join the Advanced Heart Failure – Cardiac Transplant Team. There is potential to become Director of Mechanical Circulatory Support based on experience.

Candidates should have an MD or equivalent, be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology, and be eligible for AZ medical licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona (AZ)
• ACGME‑accredited 3‑year fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology
• Additional 1–2 years of subspecialty training in pediatric advanced heart failure including transplant patients and mechanical circulatory support

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, medical students and nurses.
• Collaborate in clinical and translational research within the Advanced Heart Failure–Cardiac Transplant program.
