Division of Pediatric Cardiology - CICU Director

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) and Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks a board-certified/eligible Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to join as CICU Director. CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children’s hospital in New York City, serving a diverse patient population in the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley.

Qualifications:

1. Completed fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology and/or Critical Care with advanced Cardiac Intensive Care training.
2. Board certification in pediatric cardiology preferred.
3. Interest in research and leadership opportunities.
4. Dedicated to clinical excellence, education, and research.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
2. Participating in clinical research and program development.
3. Teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students.

About the Division:

The Division includes specialists in fetal cardiology, heart failure and transplant, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and more. It has an ACGME-accredited fellowship program, with offices in the Bronx and Westchester, providing over 9,000 consultations annually.

Faculty and Community:

All faculty hold appointments at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The Bronx offers rich cultural experiences, proximity to Manhattan and Northern NJ.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $300,000–$375,000, commensurate with experience and rank.
