Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time Administrative Clerk for the Burnet Campus CICU. The role supports unit and outpatient operations with clerical duties, patient data accuracy, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure smooth admissions, discharges, and flow.

The position offers a rotating shift with 12 hours per week (0.3 FTE) and pay around $17.49–$20.99 per hour, with additional on-call or weekend differentials possible based on experience and equity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Clerical duties including medical record integrity, forms management, timely response to faxes, printed material, mail, and accuracy of patient data; timely completion of admissions, discharges, transfers and short stay documentation.
• Environmental management to maintain a safe, accessible, effective and efficient environment; monitor front desk traffic and enforce visitor policies.
• Systems management: identify system problems, respond to alarms, and review staffing information with urgency.
• Communication: adhere to CARES behaviors, ensure HIPAA compliance and secure handling of patient information.
• Provide daily operational/administrative support for the unit and outpatient services; coordinate information systems and clerical functions.
