Job summary

The Division of Pediatric Psychology at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Oregon Health & Science University, is recruiting for a full-time pediatric GI psychology postdoctoral fellow. The training is 12 months with the option to extend for a second year based on interest and program availability.

The fellow will receive clinical training in psychological assessment and treatment of pediatric GI conditions, with opportunities in interdisciplinary clinics, outpatient and inpatient care, and

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Completion of APA-accredited internship with work with children and families.
• Knowledge of development across the lifespan and psychosocial contributors to behavioral health; strong communication skills.
• Residency contract approved by the Oregon Board of Psychologist Examiners before start date.

Responsibilities

• Clinical training in the psychological assessment and treatment of pediatric gastrointestinal conditions.
• Work within interdisciplinary clinics and provide both outpatient (in-person and virtual) and inpatient consultation as part of the GI psychology service.
• Engage in ongoing applied research projects and program development within their areas of interest.
• Training hours and supervision conform to licensure requirements; no after-hours or weekend on-call obligations; Monday–Friday schedule.
