The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) John Sealy School of Medicine in Galveston is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician-Scientist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program and Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical education.
• Demonstrated clinical and/or basic science research productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric gastroenterology care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the division’s clinical and educational missions.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Assist in clinical and/or basic research program within the Division of Gastroenterology.
