Job summary

Father Flanagan's Boys' Home seeks an experienced pediatric gastroenterologist to deliver direct specialty care to hospital patients within a multi-disciplinary team. You will participate in evaluation, remediation, and research projects, while contributing to undergraduate and graduate medical education and program development.

The role involves collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to advance care for children with digestive, liver, and nutritional disorders.

Qualifications

• MD required from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in pediatrics and GI/nutrition required.
• Nebraska medical licensure or ability to obtain it.
• Eligibility for Crieghton University faculty appointment and clinical privileges.
• Three years pediatric residency with GI, hepatology, nutrition training and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct specialty pediatric gastroenterology care to hospital patients.
• Serve on multi-disciplinary teams for patient evaluation and remediation.
• Design and conduct clinical or basic research projects in specialty area.
• Collaborate with hospital staff on research and education programs.
• Contribute to educational programs in medicine, nursing, and allied fields.
• Develop objectives and staffing for the medical program as required.
