Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE, seeks an experienced pediatric gastroenterologist to provide direct specialty care to inpatients and ambulatory patients. You will join a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to education, research, and program development.

The role requires board certification in pediatric gastroenterology, MD, Nebraska licensure, and training in hepatology/nutrition with a strong research track record. Creighton affiliation potential is available.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school is required.
• Board certification in Pediatrics and subspecialty in Gastroenterology and Nutrition is required.
• Nebraska medical licensure or eligibility is required.
• Eligibility for Creighton University Medical School faculty appointment in Pediatrics is required.
• Minimum of three years in pediatric residency with additional GI, hepatology, and nutrition training and research experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct specialty pediatric gastroenterology care to hospital patients.
• Serve on multi-disciplinary teams for evaluation and care.
• Design and conduct research projects aligned with hospital goals.
• Collaborate with hospital staff on clinical and research activities.
• Participate in educational programs for students and staff.
• Assist in developing program objectives and staffing for the medical program.
• Undertake special projects as directed by the Director.
