Job summary

Akron Children's, Northeast Ohio's largest independent pediatric health care provider, seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven division of 12 gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching residents and fellows, and involvement in research. Board certification or eligibility and Ohio license are required. A robust benefits package and generous vacation/CME time are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology or eligibility/certification.
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care for pediatric GI patients as part of a collaborative team.
• Contribute to the educational mission by mentoring pediatric residents, medical students, and GI fellows.
• Engage in research activities and academic initiatives within the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
