GI Associates in southeast Wisconsin is seeking a Pediatric Medical Assistant to support physicians and provide compassionate patient care in a pediatric gastroenterology practice. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient-centered service.

Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, coordinating procedures and testing, education, EMR documentation, and scheduling. Travel to additional clinic locations may be required, with a strong focus on family communication and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent clinical experience.
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of experience in pediatrics is preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office is expected.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate patient centered care.
• Rooms pediatric patients and collects intake information and vital signs.
• Coordinates laboratory testing, imaging, endoscopy procedures, referrals and ancillary appointments.
• Prepares patients and families for procedures and educates about treatment plans.
• Maintains EMR documentation and supports schedule management.
• Travels to clinic locations as needed.
