Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven team of specialists. The physician will deliver high-quality clinical care to children with GI, liver, and nutritional disorders, and actively participate in education and research within the division.

The successful candidate will work with a team of gastroenterologists and nurse practitioners, contribute to resident and fellow mentorship, and support the hospital's growing patient population

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board-certified/eligible in pediatric gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain Ohio medical license.
• Commitment to education and research within a pediatric academic division.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for children with GI, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
• Mentor and teach pediatric residents, medical students, and fellows as part of an academic mission.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance clinical care and research in pediatric gastroenterology.
