The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and Division of Genetics invites applications for a non-tenure eligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in Charlottesville, VA.

The successful candidate will staff general genetic and metabolic clinics, participate in satellite clinics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including genetic counselors and dietitians.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and eligible for UVA faculty appointment.
• Board-certified or eligible in clinical genetics preferred.
• Active research interest desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Staff general genetic and metabolic clinics in Charlottesville and satellite clinics in Winchester, Lynchburg, and Bristol.
• Provide inpatient consultation service coverage and triage newborn screening cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of genetic counselors, dietitians, assistants and administrative staff.
