Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) and the BU Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine invite applications for a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterology Academic Clinician. The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical care, contribute to teaching and research, and collaborate with a dynamic team in a leading urban academic medical center.

Responsibilities include ambulatory and inpatient patient care, supervision of medical students and residents, and participation in quality improvement

Position Title: Pediatric Gastroenterology, Academic Clinician

Overview: The Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center (BMC) seek a full-time board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Gastroenterology Physician. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual excited to join our expanding division, contributing to clinical care, teaching, and research at a leading academic medical center.

You’ll collaborate with fellow pediatric Gastroenterology physicians and nurses in the care of patients in the ambulatory and inpatient settings. Our division offer a wide range of State of the art Pediatric GI services and procedures and is involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students and residents.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Current or able to obtain MA license
• Current DEA
• Candidates will be eager to engage in clinical practice, teaching, and quality improvement.
• Strong clinical skills and an interest in practicing in an academic urban environment.

Compensation ranges between $207,227 and $ 250,000

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
