Job summary

AdventHealth for Children in Central Florida is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join an established team. The practice emphasizes general pediatric GI with potential subspecialty focus and academic opportunities.

The role supports care across Central Florida locations with a pathway to develop a fellowship program. The successful candidate will collaborate with pediatric surgery, anesthesiology, ICU, and other pediatric specialties, and participate in call coverage,

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology required or equivalent.
• Board certification in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology preferred.
• Post-fellowship practice experience is ideal.
• Experience with pediatric GI emergencies and procedures is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills essential.
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide predominantly general pediatric GI care with opportunity for niche interests.
• Independently perform routine pediatric GI endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate across pediatrics, surgery, and other specialties.
• Participate in education and potential fellowship development.
• Share call responsibilities and inpatient/outpatient consultation duties.
