AdventHealth for Children in Central Florida is seeking a full-time Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a growing team. The physician will provide general pediatric GI care and help develop subspecialty interests within a collaborative program.

The role includes a 1-in-5 call rotation, opportunities to contribute to academic growth and fellowship development, and a path to shape a formal fellowship program. Based in Orlando, this employed position offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology is required for eligibility.
• Board Certification in Pediatrics is expected.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology is preferred.
• Post-fellowship practice experience is ideal (5+ years).

Responsibilities

• Provide general pediatric GI care and perform routine endoscopic procedures.
• Possibly develop an academic or subspecialty niche (e.g., pancreatic diseases, motility).
• Participate in education and fellowship development activities.
• Contribute to inpatient service, ED consultations, and after-hours call.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team across Central Florida locations.
