Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative, academically driven team of 12 pediatric gastroenterologists and 7 nurse practitioners. You will contribute to clinical care, education, and research while serving a growing patient population in Northeast Ohio.

The division provides comprehensive care for GI, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders with expertise in motility, aerodigestive conditions, and complex digestive diseases.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with a valid Ohio medical license.
• Board certification in Pediatrics by ABP and subspecialty certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Eligibility or certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology and ability to obtain Ohio license.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative, academically driven team of pediatric gastroenterologists and nurse practitioners.
• Advance the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Educate and mentor pediatric residents, medical students, and gastroenterology fellows.
• Provide comprehensive care for children with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders; contribute to program development and research.
