Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital is offering an opportunity for a full-time pediatric gastroenterologist faculty appointment at one of the nation’s top ranked Children’s Hospital as reported U.S. News & World Report. As Oregon’s only academic health center, we strive to offer the best medical care to every child across Oregon, Southwest Washington and beyond.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our established team of pediatric gastroenterologists. Embracing multidisciplinary collaboration, we are actively involved in a broad range of clinical care, education and research activities. We are focused on building centers of clinical excellence within pediatric gastroenterology to better serve our patients.
In this position, we are seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist with a passion for developing clinical programs that meet the needs of our patients. We invest in developing our faculty members and encourage applicants with a differentiated interest in pediatric gastroenterology to apply. Candidates will be board certified/board eligible in pediatric gastroenterology, with research and/or medical degree, eligible for Oregon medical licensure. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
In addition to patient clinical care at OHSU Doernbecher and outreach clinics in the region, pediatric faculty members also provide clinical teaching and supervision of pediatric fellows, residents and medical students. In fact, more than half of Oregon’s practicing pediatricians trained at Doernbecher. A hallmark of OHSU is educational innovation in medicine for our students, but Doernbecher also provides a wide range of professional development opportunities for our faculty.
