Medical Health Associates Of Western New York's Tonawanda Pediatrics Team is seeking a Patient Service Representative to deliver friendly, patient-centered service in a busy on-site office.

The role focuses on front-desk check-in, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing inquiries, and EMR data entry, supporting clinicians and staff while upholding privacy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service, clerical, or reception experience.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Proficiency with medical record technology.
• MEDENT experience/knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors; check-in patients and direct to waiting areas.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; follow up on missed appointments.
• Compile information and maintain patient records in EMR system.
• Answer billing questions and direct messages; verify insurance eligibility.
• Collect co-pays and balances; post charges and run end-of-day reports.
• Transmit medical records (mail, email, fax) as needed.
• Facilitate patient flow and communicate delays to patients and providers.
• Assist with referral process and test scheduling as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle information securely.
