Job summary

The USF Tampa General Pediatrics department is seeking a Registered Nurse Float to join the team in Tampa. This role provides clinical assessments, coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary staff, and supports physicians to ensure safe, high‑quality care for pediatric patients.

You will educate patients and families, document care accurately in the EMR, and participate in care coordination for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida RN licensure or Compact State license.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and regulatory standards.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
• Clear communication with patients, families and staff.
• Proficiency with EMR and accurate documentation.
• Experience in patient education and care coordination.
