Job summary

PSCFL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead care planning and delivery for pediatric ICU and general units. You will perform assessments, implement the plan of care, document in Cerner, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, PALS, ACLS within timeframes, and NRP within 1 year. You will float across nursing units, uphold Magnet standards, and support family-centered care with effective

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or eNLC active and in good standing.
• AHA BLS active and in good standing.
• AHA PALS active, within 2 years of hire date.
• AHA ACLS within 1 year of hire date as required by department.
• NRP active within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing processes.
• Prepare admission history, discharge planning, and SBAR handoffs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan care and safety.
• Administer medications with six rights and monitor drips.
• Document in Cerner and maintain patient records accurately.
• Float across units ensuring clinical excellence and high-quality service.
• Educate patients and families, translate as needed, and ensure family-centered care.
• Maintain safe environment and report adverse events per policy.
