AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Pediatric Float Pool RN for night shifts. The role involves floating to various pediatric units, participating in quality improvements, and educating families as part of the care plan.

Requires Associate's of Nursing and RN licensure, with Pediatric experience preferred. Night schedule and full-time status with benefits are offered by the facility.

Qualifications

• Communication, delegation, coordination, evaluation, assessment, and interpersonal skills [Required]
• Ability to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs [Required]
• Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Work Experience: One plus years pediatric nursing experience [Preferred]
• Additional Information: Must meet one of either preferred Work Experience or Education is required

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement activities and reports concerns regarding patient care quality
• Recognize signs of deterioration and elevate care appropriately
• Actively involve and educate parents/caregivers in the child’s plan of care, fostering a trusting partnership
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including medication administration checks, patient ID verification, and fall prevention practices
• Other duties as assigned
