Job summary

St. Luke's Health System seeks a feeding therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist to work with pediatric patients with feeding difficulties and dysphagia, across ages 0–18. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

Scheduling is Monday–Friday, with a focus on patient-centered care and supportive professional development. Candidates must hold Idaho licensure in SLP or OT, plus BLS certification and related credentials.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapy program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through ASHI, AHA, or ARC.
• Valid license to practice either Speech-Language Pathology in Idaho (CCC-SLP or provisional) or Occupational Therapy in Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Work with pediatric patients with feeding difficulties.
• Patient demographics include 0–18 years old with feeding/dysphagia needs and related developmental/neurological diagnoses.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Schedule to be determined, Monday–Friday.

What You Can Expect:

• Patient demographics will include treating patients 0-18 years old with feeding/dysphagia needs and as well as a variety of developmental and neurological diagnosis.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapist program.

• Licenses/Certifications:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

• Occupational Therapist:

• Valid license to practice occupational therapy in state of practice

• Speech Language Pathologist:

• One of the following:

• Speech Language Pathologist Provisional Permit to practice in the state of Idaho OR Speech Language Pathologist License to practice in the state of Idaho AND Certified ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross

• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of pediatric feeding therapy experience
