Job summary

St. Luke’s is seeking Feeding Therapists/Speech Language Pathologists to support pediatric patients with feeding and dysphagia needs. You will work in a team-based environment with 0–18-year-olds, collaborating with therapists across disciplines. Family-centered care and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

The role offers a standard daytime schedule, with full-time hours and opportunities to contribute to comprehensive pediatric rehab services within St. Luke’s system.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapy program.
  • Current BLS Provider certification.
  • Idaho licensure: Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP or Idaho license; Occupational Therapist license in Idaho.
  • Preferred: 1 year pediatric feeding therapy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Treat pediatric patients with feeding difficulties aged 0–18 years.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Schedule is Monday–Friday; shift is Day.

What You Can Expect:

  • Work with pediatric patients with feeding difficulties
  • Patient demographics will include treating patients 0-18 years old with feeding/dysphagia needs and as well as a variety of developmental and neurological diagnosis.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Schedule to be determined, Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapist program.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
    • Occupational Therapist:
      • Valid license to practice occupational therapy in state of practice
    • Speech Language Pathologist:
      • One of the following:
        • Speech Language Pathologist Provisional Permit to practice in the state of Idaho OR Speech Language Pathologist License to practice in the state of Idaho AND Certified ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
  • Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of pediatric feeding therapy experience
