Job summary

The Office Nurse Practitioner at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters works under supervision and clinical guidance of the practice physician(s) in collaboration with and under the medical direction and supervision of a licensed physician. Reports to supervising physician(s) and designated manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include patient care activities, education, and support of the medical practice with efficient resource use.

Qualifications

• Current State license as an APRN with specialization in Family or Pediatrics.
• Current state license as a RN or RN with a valid Compact State license
• Meets and maintains State Licenser, Certification and/or educational requirements as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to support the medical practice with effective utilization of healthcare resources.
• Demonstrates excellence in practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient and staff education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
