Job summary

The Office Nurse Practitioner works under supervision and clinical guidance of the practice physician(s). Engages in the practices constituting the practice of medicine in collaboration with and under the medical direction and supervision of a licensed physician.

Reports to supervising physician(s) and designated manager. The Office Nurse Practitioner provides patient care, education for patients and staff, and supports the medical practice within a normal patient care environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced professional nursing knowledge and clinical expertise.
• Pediatric experience preferred (3–5 years).
• APRN and RN licensure required, CPR certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support services under physician supervision.
• Educate patients and staff to promote quality care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or physicians.
