Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association Health Group in New Jersey seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care in our Pediatric and Primary Care departments at Keyport and Red Bank. This full-time role focuses on the lifespan, with emphasis on children and families.

Ideal candidates have outpatient pediatric experience, strong communication, and a passion for community health. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred to serve our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• NJ Advanced Practice Nurse licensure.
• Master's degree in Nursing from an NLN-accredited program.
• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority; CDS and DEA.
• 2+ years of primary or ambulatory care nursing experience.
• Leadership experience or degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive primary care services to pediatric and adult patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Provides client teaching to individuals and families when appropriate.
• Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided.
• Identifies new services or programs relevant to agency’s mission and philosophy.
• Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies and guidelines of primary care regulatory agencies.
• Supervises staff in conjunction with the organization’s managerial and leadership practices.
