Job summary

VNACJ Community Health Center in Keyport and Red Bank, NJ seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care to pediatric and adult patients in our Pediatric and Primary Care departments.

The ideal candidate has outpatient pediatric experience, strong communication skills, and preferred bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Must hold NJ APN licensure with prescriptive authority and CDS/DEA; join as a full-time clinician.

Qualifications

• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in NJ.
• Master’s degree in Nursing from an NLN accredited program.
• Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority; maintain a CDS and DEA.
• 2+ years of primary or ambulatory care nursing experience required.
• Business or management degree or experience preferred with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive primary care services to pediatric and adult patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Supports organization’s mission with positive interpersonal relationships with co-workers.
• Provides client teaching to individuals and families when appropriate.
• Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided.
• Identifies new services or programs relevant to agency’s mission and philosophy.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies; supervises staff with leadership practices.

Position Summary:

The Family Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care services to patients within our Pediatric and Primary Care departments in Keyport and Red Bank, NJ. This full-time role is responsible for promoting patient wellness across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will have outpatient pediatric experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting children and families. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred to help meet the needs of our diverse patient population.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Adheres to agency infection control and safety policies and guidelines of primary care regulatory agencies
