UChicago Medicine in Hyde Park is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Comer Emergency Department, a Level 1 Pediatric Academic Trauma Center, 100% onsite in Chicagoland. You will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold nursing standards from admission to discharge.

Requirements include an NLN-accredited nursing program, an ASN or higher, active Illinois RN license, BLS, and SANE certification in progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• BLS Certification required.
• SANE certification in progress within 18 months or as stated.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Deliver patient-centered care and document in records.
• Administer meds and treatments per orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for discharge planning.
• Provide care consistent with nursing standards and policies.
• Participate in patient care conferences and safety rounds.
