Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a Pediatric Nurse for a 20-week limited-term assignment in the ED/TC. The role requires 1 year of RN experience in pediatric settings, with a focus on coordinating care for young patients and families within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS and PALS certifications. Shifts include 12-hour PMs and nights; start target is late November to early December 2026.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• One year nursing experience required
• Knowledge of neonatal, pediatric and adolescent growth and development
• Ability to rotate shifts and weekends and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Provides care coordination for pediatric patients and families within a care management framework
• Delivers nursing care per established policies and procedures
• Performs nursing tasks including point-of-care testing and specimen collection as needed
• Participates in discharge planning and family teaching and support
