Children's Wisconsin is seeking a registered nurse for a limited-term 20-week position in Milwaukee’s ED/TC setting. The role requires an RN license in Wisconsin and current BLS/PALS certifications, with at least one year of pediatric nursing experience.

The position features 12-hour PM/night shifts and the possibility of shift differentials, with no benefits for this limited-term posting. Active start targeted for late November to early December 2026.

Qualifikationen

• Strong ability to assess pediatric patients and coordinate care.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Nursing Process: applies growth/development data, communicates with child and family, makes independent nursing decisions, performs point-of-care testing and blood collection.
• Care Management: collaborates with physicians to implement care plans and delegates activities.
• Discharge Planning: assess discharge needs, coordinate resources for timely discharge, complete teaching.
• Teaching: develops and delivers teaching plans to children and families using available resources.
• Consultation/Collaboration: communicates needs to care team, coordinates with other disciplines.
