Incredible Health is actively recruiting for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER in the Washington, DC area. Roles include day, night, and mid shifts with full time, part time, and per diem options.

The hospital emphasizes Magnet recognition, strong benefits, and pediatric emergency care expertise. Requirements include ADN or higher nursing degree, active RN license, and pediatric/ER experience with pediatric equipment familiarity.

Formación

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications preferred
• 1+ years of experience in pediatric and/or ER settings preferred
• Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
