Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER in the Washington, DC area. Multiple shifts are available, including day, night, and mid shifts, with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

The role requires ADN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred. Pediatric ER experience is valued, and the successful candidate will monitor patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with a care team.

Qualifications

ADN or higher nursing degree required.
Active and unencumbered RN license required.
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications preferred.
1+ year pediatric and/or ER experience preferred.
Experience with pediatric medical equipment.
Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

Serve as first line of defense for urgent pediatric care.
Treat pediatric patients with trauma, injury or severe conditions.
Assess needs quickly and prioritize care.
Monitor health, administer meds and operate medical equipment.
Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine discharge or admission.
Educate patients and families about condition and care plan.
