Job summary

Dolly Parton Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join the emergency department team. The position involves delivering rapid, specialized care for infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced setting and to maintain high-quality medical records.

Ideal candidates are board certified/eligible in PEM with fellowship training, and licensed or eligible for Tennessee licensure.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in pediatric emergency medicine.
• Fellowship training in PEM.
• Licensed or eligible for Tennessee medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care for pediatric patients including trauma, respiratory distress, seizures.
• Perform rapid assessments and life-saving interventions (intubation, central lines, LPs, fracture reductions).
• Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, supervise learners, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
