Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Pediatric ED Clinical Nurse Coord RN - Supervisor to join our team. This role coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced pediatric emergency department and supports nursing staff with coaching and scheduling.

The position requires BSN, RN licensure, and pediatric ED experience with leadership capabilities. Certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC must be obtained within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications or equivalents are required or must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• BSN degree is required and RN licensure is mandatory.
• Charge RN experience is preferred and indicates leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a pediatric ED setting.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with leadership to support improved patient outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling and resource coordination.
