Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL seeks an experienced nurse to provide direct patient care in a designated specialty unit. You will delegate tasks, precept students, and educate patients and families while upholding standards of practice and the organization’s mission.

You will plan and evaluate care based on assessments, monitor patient status, and collaborate across disciplines to coordinate disposition, referrals, and psychosocial support as needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program as required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• PALS certification through American Heart Association.
• Registered Nurse license valid in Florida.

Responsabilités

• Delegates patient care to ancillary personnel as appropriate.
• Precepts student nurses and new hires when needed.
• Assesses learning needs of patients and families for education.
• Plans, implements and evaluates patient care based on assessment.
• Monitors and documents patient status and communicates changes.
• Coordinates care across disciplines for discharge, referrals and support needs.
