Job summary

You will plan, implement, and evaluate care, monitor patient status, educate patients and families, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and support departmental goals while maintaining patient safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (or multi-state license as applicable).
• ACLS and BLS required; PALS required for pediatric areas.
• Familiarity with chemotherapy/biotherapy provider requirements where applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and learning needs assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a designated specialty unit.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient condition; communicate changes to the team.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate care and disposition with interdisciplinary staff.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support trainee nurses and new hires.
