Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health's Pediatric Emergency Department seeks a Nurse Clinician (RN) to lead care for complex pediatric patients. You will collaborate with the health care team to assess, diagnose and treat, promote wellness and comfort, and contribute to program development and evaluation.

Requirements include Virginia RN licensure, BLS HCP, a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with enrollment in a Master’s program to complete within 36 months, and at least five years of nursing

Qualifications

• Virginia RN licensure or eligible/compact state.
• Current BLS HCP certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; enrolled in MSN program.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat complex pediatric patients in ED.
• Provide leadership, education and program development in the unit.
• Coordinate with care team to promote wellness and comfort.
• Manage resources and support staff development and evaluation.
