Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients under 21, including triage, assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with pediatric emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Respond to high‑acuity conditions with rapid decision‑making and clinical judgment.
• Provide family‑centered care, engaging caregivers during stressful situations.
