Job summary

University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to support multiple studies under PI supervision. The role focuses on patient coordination, data management, and protocol adherence across complex trials.

You will work with sponsors, review data, ensure eligibility, and assist with site regulatory requirements while occasionally working nights or weekends to enroll patients during peak ER hours. A strong foundation in clinical research is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in medical or science related field.
• 1 year of clinical research experience; advanced degree may substitute.
• CPR/CPR AED certification preferred depending on protocol requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory aspects of trials to comply with FDA, institutional policies, and study protocols.
• Directly interact with clinical research participants via phone, telehealth or in-person visits.
• Screen, recruit, enroll and follow subjects per protocol; assist with consent process as needed.
• Develop and maintain data collection tools and case report forms; ensure data quality.
• Monitor patient safety and reporting per HRPP standards and protocol.
• Assist in developing research budgets and possible budget allocations.
