Job summary

The University of Chicago’s Department of Pediatrics, Section of Emergency Medicine, seeks part-time Clinical Associates for renewable one-year terms as Primary Attending at Comer Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in Chicago. The roles require collaborative physicians to thrive in a busy ED; teaching or scholarly activity is not required.

Compensation depends on clinical shifts worked. Qualified applicants must hold a medical doctorate or equivalent, be eligible for Illinois

Qualifications

• have a medical doctorate or equivalent
• hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
• be Board certified in Pediatrics and/or be Board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

• Serve as Primary Attending in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Comer Children's Hospital.
• Provide care in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center on a renewable one-year term.
