Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Medical Assistant I for the 03110 AHNMG Pediatric Endocrinology Center in Macon. The role supports pediatric patient care, rooming, vitals, med reconciliation, and basic laboratory tasks under physician supervision.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with benefits. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and MA program completion, with relevant clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical practice setting as a Medical Assistant.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military training in lieu of a formal MA program.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely.
• Maintains supplies, schedules appointments, and supports patient communication.
