Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinology Clinical Assistant Professor to support the Division’s clinical and academic missions. The appointment is fixed term, 1.0 FTE, with compensation commensurate with experience.

Clinical duties include inpatient and outpatient care of children with diabetes and endocrine disorders, with clinics in Chapel Hill and Raleigh. Scholarly activity and medical education are expected components of the role.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD trained and board certified/eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatric endocrine care.
• Academic interest in scholarly activities including quality improvement, clinical research and medical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with diabetes and endocrine disorders.
• Participate in outpatient clinics at UNC Children’s Specialty Clinics in Chapel Hill and Raleigh.
• Engage in scholarly activities, clinical research and medical education.
