Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center seeks a Pediatric Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider to deliver ambulatory endocrinology care for pediatric patients under physician supervision. You will develop and implement care plans, perform exams, and order tests as needed.

The role involves counseling families, ensuring continuity of care, and managing patient health over time in a full-time outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Physician Assistant training program approved by the AMA Council on Allied Health Education Accreditation.
• Current Physician Assistant license in Texas or eligible to transfer.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA or graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory endocrinology care to pediatric patients under physician supervision.
• Develop plans of care with supervising physician and implement them.
• Obtain health histories, conduct exams, and administer treatments as indicated.
• Order appropriate diagnostic tests for diagnosis or management.
• Counsel patients and families on care plans and health maintenance.
