Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Coordinator (RN) to join our Pediatric Specialty Centers. The role coordinates patient care across the continuum under Nursing leadership and the Attending Physician, applying professional judgment to support quality and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include professional practice, patient and family education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the specialty service.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Connecticut RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years RN experience in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across the continuum.
• Provide patient and family education on condition, treatment, outcomes, and potential adverse effects.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Participate in data collection related to quality improvement.
