Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to support medically fragile children in our PPEC program in Bartow, FL. This part-time or per diem role offers day shifts and a pay range of $14-$18 per hour, with weekly pay.

You will work with RN and clinical staff to provide safe, compassionate care for pediatric patients. The position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and a mission-driven culture within a family-owned clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida EMT certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Background screening and TB clearance must be completed.
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, lift, and assist with patient positioning and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and responding to patient needs under RN supervision.
• Support respiratory care activities and suctioning within training guidelines.
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN.
• Participate in emergency response procedures and assist with patient stabilization as directed.
• Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards.
• Keep care environment clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in trainings, competencies, and continuing education.
