Job summary

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in Titusville, FL is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to support medically fragile children in our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) program. This role is ideal for EMTs who are passionate about pediatric care and want to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment.

You’ll work alongside RN and clinical staff to provide safe, compassionate care while helping children thrive.

Qualifications

• Active Florida EMT certification
• Current CPR certification
• Successful completion of background screening and TB clearance requirements
• Physical ability: bend, kneel, lift, assist with patient positioning and mobility

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring and responding to patient needs under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Support respiratory care activities, including tracheostomy care and suctioning within training and competency guidelines
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, toileting, positioning, and mobility
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN
• Participate in emergency response procedures and assist with patient stabilization as directed
• Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe care environment
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely
• Participate in required trainings, competencies, and continuing education
